Pilot Cluster Covenant

The session held a called meeting last Sunday, March 7 following worship for the purpose of taking action on the Pilot Cluster Covenant presented to us by Bill Youmans and the Church Development Committee of the Presbytery of Charlotte. The Session voted unanimously to ratify the covenant and attend all four leadership school sessions.

The Session asks for the full support of the congregation in moving forward with this ambitious project. We pray that this endeavor will be a journey of healing and growth for our congregation. We pray that as we unite in hope and love, the Holy Spirit will propel us into a unique and creative mission of witness and service to our God and community.

Please plan to attend the first Pilot Cluster Leadership School session this Saturday, March 20 at Derita Presbyterian Church from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you would like to carpool, please meet at the church by 9:00 a.m. Reservations are required, because lunch will be provided and they need an exact count. If you want to come, please sign the sheet on the table in the back of the church. We must know today if you can attend this meeting.

There are also three handouts on the table in the back of the church that pertain to this Saturday’s meeting. Please take one set per family (one paper clipped group is a set). And please read these pages before you come to the meeting on Saturday morning.
