In one way, worship is like a great film. Worship can move you to laugh and cry. You may leave worship having heard new stories of interesting characters. You may leave having learned something new about yourself.
In another way, worship is unlike anything else we do. Worship is a time when our entire community comes together to remind one another that we know a living God. We speak to God in prayer. We sing to God with admiration, thanksgiving, and joy. We rededicate ourselves to living our lives entirely for God.

At Cornerstone we feel music is an important part of worship. Music has the ability to make connections to specific times and events in our lives. You can hear a favorite song from years past and you can very vividly recall experiences and events connected to that song. By using music relevant to you and the current culture we hope it will create connections to God and worship experiences that will remain with you in your everyday lives as you hear those songs in your car, at work or at home.

Guitarist and Singers needed! Do you know someone who sings or plays guitar who isn’t involved in a church? We are in need of volunteer musicians to help build our praise team. Invite them to come “jam” with our Praise Team on Tuesdays at 7:00.

Cornerstone is a member of the Presbyterian Church USA. You may have grown up in the Presbyterian Church or you may have no idea what makes a Presbyterian Church different than any other church. That's OK!

We hope that you find our congregation to be a safe place where you can explore faith in God and relationships with other people of faith.
